ADMISSION PROCEDURE IN THE SCHOOL (DEAF/BLIND)

For the Deaf School

• A deaf child's medical checkup is must by an ENT Specialist for deafness.
  (Audiological Testing is done in the school when ENT Specialist refers it.)
• Case History of the child is taken from the parents
• Admission form is filled up with the following attachments-
  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Income certificate of parents
  3. 4 Passport size photographs
• Age - 3 yrs. for the school & 6 yrs. for hostel admission.

For the Deaf School
Same as above but he don't need medical checkup by ENT.

REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS

• A programme named 'Shiksha Aapke Dwar' is arranged to find out deaf & Blind children from rural & uneducated areas to make them know about the institution, that is determined to give education to each child of this kind. Our team visits rural areas and contact directly with the parents of handicapped children. Surpanch, Patwaries, ANMs, Social workers also to tell them that deaf & blind child can also be self stand by education.
• Prevention of deafness is also a subject by which we tell them the precautions & causes of deafness. We meet Anganwari workers who are in direct contact with the rural men & women. Seminars & workshops are also organized from time to time.
