SCHOOL STANDARD

1. Pre-school education to parents of hearing impaired children.
2. Primary school education
3. Upper primary school education
4. Secondary school education

The school is recognised by State Educational Department of Rajasthan. & Board of Sec. Education, Ajmer Rajasthan. In the school the courses are followed as per the deaf education.

• Oral method implements (slide projector).
• Practical education - Children are given chances to do the works as of the Bank, Post-office, marketing, prayers of all religion etc.
• Group-hearing-aids are used in the classes.
• Maps, Charts Models etc.v
• Hearing-aids are used effectively.
• Teacher-student ratio is 1:8 to 1:10
• Trained teachers in the deaf education.

SPEECH DEVELOPMENT

Speech therapy practice is done personally by the children including their parents in the process to know & learn it. By this they improve their voice and develop language. DVS-7 and VISI-PITCH UNITS (provided by Shri Kejriwal Foundation with efforts of Sh. M.P. Mansighka Sb., Chairman of M.P.Mansinghka Charities, Mumbai), Speech Trainers, Models are available & regularly used for the speech development. These machines are provided in a few districts of India by UNESCO.

AUDIOMETERY & EAR MOULD LAB

There is an Earmould Laboratory which enables the students to use fitting earmould instead of ear tips. An earmould prevent the leakage of sound and hence it is more beneficial to the deaf child.

Audiometery & audiological test is done by predectric Reactometre and computerized audiometer. Besides the students of the school, audiological testing services by computerized Audiometer are rendered to the outsiders as well.
